Five Years of Transforming Tribal Lives at Scale

Since its inception, Samaritans for the Nation (SFN) has stood at the frontlines of tribal development, working in some of India’s most remote forest and agency areas where access to basic services remains a daily struggle. What began as a commitment to serve has grown into a multi-state effort delivering life-saving support, system strengthening, and sustainable solutions to tribal communities across Andhra Pradesh, Chhattisgarh, Odisha, and Telangana.

Through a deeply community-driven approach, SFN has addressed critical gaps in healthcare, nutrition, safe drinking water, education, livelihoods, agriculture, renewable energy, and disaster response. Every intervention is designed not as charity, but as a pathway to dignity, resilience, and long-term self-reliance.

The Road Ahead

As we look ahead, SFN is committed to deepening and scaling its impact across underserved regions. We aim to advance the following priorities:

Expand model village initiatives with a strong focus on safe drinking water, hygiene, and sanitation.

Promote value-based education among students and provide capacity-building training for frontline health workers.

Strengthen tribal healthcare systems by enhancing preventive care, nutrition interventions, and community health infrastructure.

Promote eco-friendly and climate-resilient livelihoods to improve long-term income security.

Establish a dedicated school for PVTG and other marginalized communities, ensuring inclusive and equitable access to quality education.

Set up a Tribal Youth Training & Career Guidance Centre to support youth who are limited by local opportunities, helping them explore wider career pathways.
